We live in a constant tension of wanting to be somewhere else.
We love that the grass is greener on the other side where we’d like to be.
May be one of the reasons Jesus said for us to be in the world is to sit and stay.
Maybe that’s why we long.
We long to live in communes.
We long to be in missions.
We long to be full timers.
We long to be in ministry.
To be drawn close.
To be closer.
To be at the next best thing is better than not being right There.
Maybe we long since we were made to long for more.
To long for Hope.
To long for a new Home.
To long to be Clothed.
To long for the original Plan.
To long for the Good.
So we live in that constant tension.
